Memory Quilt - Mosaic Style Layout

Gather your favorite shirts and make a memory that will be cherished for years!  T-Shirt quilts make a great custom gift or favorite blanket.

Shirt theme suggestions:  athlete, fraternity, sorority, college, concert, high school, favorite hobby, grandparent, camp, travel, clothing of a deceased loved one or an eclectic variety! *Theme not required*

Quilt gifting suggestions:  graduation, new baby, wedding gift, memory of a deceased loved one.

Items that can been used: t-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, blankets, flags and sheets.

Most quilts will be prepared as pictured, with the quilt primarily made up of the shirts.  In the event there are not enough shirts to satisfy the dimensions of the quilt, coordinating fabric will be utilized for sashing/filler spots.

We will stay in contact with you throughout the process, providing pictures and updates.

Local drop off/pickup available.  Please note:  quilts have a 6-8 week turnaround time from when your items are received by us.

Sizes & # of Shirts Required

• Small Lap 36 x 36 $190 = 9-12 shirts or up to 18 pieces
• Lap 48 x 48 $280 = 12-18 shirts or up to 25 pieces
• Medium Throw 60 x 60 $370 = 20-30 shirts or up to 35 pieces
• Large Throw 70 x 70 $425 = 25-30 shirts or up to 40 pieces
• Jumbo Throw 85 x 85 $500 = 28-35 shirts or up to 45 pieces 
• Twin 60 x 84 $500 = 30-35 shirts or up to 50 pieces
• Full 84 x 92 $610 = 35-40 shirts or up to 60 pieces
• Queen 92 x 100 $730 = 45-50 shirts or up to 75 pieces
• King 100 x 112 $830 = 50-65 shirts or up to 85 pieces
• Sizes are approximate and will change depending on the size of the Ts and the size of the graphics on the Ts.  Shirt fronts, backs and sleeve logos may be utilized.
• Required # of shirts will be on the lower end of the of the range if most shirts provided are large back graphics.  ex. 36x36 all large back graphics, 9 shirts.
• Required # of shirts will be on the higher end of the range if most shirts provided are small/medium front/pocket graphics.  ex. 36x36 most small/medium front/pocket graphics, 15 shirts.

All prices include the shipping cost of the finished product.  You pay to ship the whole, uncut shirts to us.

Special instructions:

1. Pre-wash shirts prior to sending.
2. Send whole t-shirts, do not cut shirts.  If they have already been cut, we can work with it, but please do not pre-cut them.
3. It is recommended to ship your shirts in a vacuum sealed bag, finished quilt will be returned in the same bag.
4. A shipping address will be provided to you upon order.
5. Please note that orders are significantly higher in preparation of graduation gifts and Christmas.
6. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion, upon TheSamTCo's receipt of all shirts, therefore; please ensure your order is placed approximately 2 months before you need it (especially if you are purchasing custom blocks), and all items are shipped to TheSamTCo to allow a maximum of 6 weeks turnaround time.  TheSamTCo is not responsible for any delay in processing due to shirts not being provided timely.
7. Dry clean as needed.

All quilts are prepared with a light stabilizing material behind each shirt to prevent stretching during stitching and a quality batting.  You provide the shirts, we provide all additional materials required for preparation.  Backing and binding (quilt edge) will be made of cotton or flannel material.

You may request a color scheme for the back and binding or we will select a couple of coordinating fabrics for you to choose from.  We will stay in contact with you throughout the process.
